In which Ozzie composer, pianist, actor and quirky comedic genius Tim Minchin borrows the Heritage Orchestra and the Royal Albert Hall for six minutes to deliver a comprehensive, articulate and argumentatively cogent response to someone pestering him about religion (the first 5 mins set up the "back story"). How had I never heard of this guy before?

I am not exactly a Beatles fan. I don't love them, I don't hate them. Actually.
Today is the 50th anniversary of their White Album, though. Which really is a true masterpiece. Groundbreaking for many common and also future music styles such as Avant-garde, Blues, Country, Folk, Ragtime, Reggae, Rock'n Roll, Pop, Progressive, Psychedelic, Ska and even Hard Rock and Heavy Metal (see Helter Skelter).
I'm a bit surprised nobody else here cared about mentioning this most important milestone in music history.
Because, actually, I'm not a real Beatles fan...
