It's been six months since the last match event, so would people be interested in these starting back up after the New Year? I imagine folk will be busy during the upcoming festivities and the New Year seems a good time to restart.
INDICATE INTEREST VIA POLL.

Re: Return match events after New Year?
Could people actually give this some thought and be honest with yourself please
The match server does require additional maintenance and the admins have to spend time organising and running these events. There's been several occasions where people have shown up late or not at all.
Thanks

I'm interested. I took part in some latest ones and most likely would again in some in the future.
It would be great if some not so highly DM skilled players (like me) joined too, though. Hate to be always the wakest link
PS. Can the mach events have more than 8-10 players?

No danger of you being the weakest link if I'm playing, Widurr

How about a penalty system...if someone says they will play and then they don't turn up (without a good reason), they have to make a donation of 10 Euros to CEONSS if they want to play a in a future match?

I tried to drown my sorrows, but somehow they learned how to swim...

Eman puts us always in opposing teams, so we're both weakest links evening the odds

Re: Return match events after New Year?
I will be helping Ema this time around or running one myself. Won't solely be her responsibility.
Don't see why not, but it depends how many people sign up.

Re: Return match events after New Year?
The match server has 12 slots. The reason why the matches have been so small recently is that I was struggling to recruit enough players who'd be available at the same time. In order for the matches to work we need at least 8 players, though, and an even number of players. So 8, 10 or 12 players.

though i wasn't very talkative, I always thought that match events were a good idea

Re: Return match events after New Year?
I've always wanted to sign up for a match event -- but it always miraculously happen when irl-stuff gets in the way ..
It think the main reason why is because it typically goes down on a Friday or a Saturday -- which periodically tends to be very dynamic for me
Would it perhaps be possible to host an event on a week day? Maybe on a Sunday?
Or does that raise other challenges recruitment-wise?
