Umm, remind me again how exactly we got into that disjunctive proposition that we always have to have at least one of those no ground, dogfight-centric things in the first place? Aren't we still talking about 2 repetitive, minimal variety, lower Tier 2 maps here, both of which have been outdone by SlatedWorld? Does this have anything to do with that pilots' union dealio we signed awhile ago?

Speaking of AirMars, this one needs a little edit.
The gameplay has some issues that make the map pretty boring to play.

The major problem is that the comeback is impossible :(
Currently, the teams who takes the central node wins the match, because of the respawn of infantry at the center of the map. This node needs to be unshielded !
Also, it's a good place to test Wormbo's banshee and draco, no?

I think the main problem with AirMars is that the nodes in the center have limited access. Furthermore those nodes are located too close to each other so it is very easy to defend those nodes. Also the only way to get there is using Cicada or Raptor and those entrances can be defended quite well so in order to gain access to the central nodes each of the entrances have to be swarmed. This wouldn't be a problem but everybody knows that each team has 2 nodes which can be taken down easily. I think those central nodes must be unshielded and if possible then those nodes which aren't in the center of the map would receive a hitpoints buff.

I was trying to compare the maps and the rules. You can throw me with rocks or whatever you want, but I'm writing my opinion about some maps.

In some maps the only way to win is camping and spawnkilling. While these are prohibited by the server rules, many people do them, because why not? The map doesn't offer any other kind of way to win.

Actually I'm talking about that BitchSlap and the TripleSlap maps, but there are more of them which fall to this category. I think these maps aren't ONS maps really. They are very badly designed, lots of nodes are located too close to each other and some of them can be captured only by spawnkilling. While this may sound a whining from a player for you, I think some people think the same. I think people come to this server to play ONS, not spammy TDM.

I'm not saying to remove these maps, because of me. I'm not going to play on these maps, because I think they are the puke of the maps, but I think you should think about these maps. :)

Don't be the culprit Petya. If 20 people yell "let Bitchslap stay on the server" and one (in this case you :P) yells "remove", it will be removed :ghehe:

People can try new maps. :P Also I don't demand the removal of those maps. I hate them and I expressed my opinion about them. I think they are more TDM maps than ONS maps.

Also if you are going to hate me, because of my comment, then do it. :P I usually say what I think and I won't be a coward to do it. :P
