Joining Spec

Postby EmanReleipS » Sat 25. Aug 2018, 22:58

Hi peeps,

I know that not everyone likes all the maps on our roster and I appreciate that so many of you are sticking around for the next map by going to spec.

I want to ask you to do me a favor and go directly to spec whenever the server switches to a map you don't like. You can do this by pressing ESC, then going to the Server Browser and rejoining the server as a spectator.

The reason why I am asking is because some players are going to spec at the beginning of matches and it frequently unbalances the teams. This puts the team with fewer players at a disadvantage during the vital early stage of getting the primary nodes (because it takes some time for the balancer to switch someone).

Thanks a lot! :D

Is there a max number of people who can spec at one time?

Does it slow things down having a lot of spectators? Is it better to log off and come back later?
Play it safe, do what Droopy says..."Always double tap!"

Yes. 8 I guess, you should be able to see it in the serverinfo.

As all of them need networkdata, yes. But the game really only needs a very low connection speed, so 8 specs dosn't matter.

No.
