Well, I stand corrected then, Ema had the right of it. Could be that the reason why Heinz didn't correct me the last time we were discussing this back in March was because he hadn't gone through his logs to verify the events' proper dates.

That's it, sorry, wasn't aware of the exact date would ever be of this interest

In any case, at least we now have a definitive date for CEONSS' birthday: Sept. 10th.

Edit: funnily enough, it took all this to make me question my previous (msg. board founding-based) knowledge and go through any records from that time I might've kept myself, and wouldn't you know it, GT.com PMs discussing the server's map roster with Heinz dating as early as Sept. 27th, 2009. Hah.

We have the biggest player base is Germany, England (or UK) and the NL, as far as I can tell. So it's probably a good idea to do it in one of those countries. We already had Germany, so maybe one of the others now.

Cat, any chance of you attending? Would be sad to have a party for CEONSS without the big boss!

After the experience last time, I'm definitely up for this . As long as it takes place in Europe or the UK, September- October, I'm all good. Would be cool to meet other players and those who attended last time . Depending on how many people can come, it won't be as easy to say everybody round this persons house, so we are going to have to get our thinking caps on.

Not really got a preferred country, I don't mind where it is. Admittedly, doing it in England would be more convenient for me because it's just a train ride but, yeah, I don't care either way.

Ideally I want to have a rough number for the attendants down so that we know how big it needs to be and how much it would cost us per person.

Just saw this thread...Anik drew my attention to it. Not been able to get online to play for quite some time so I would really be up for another LAN party...hopefully my skills have not degraded further than they already were!

Ah the nostalgia...so back in 2009 when I began playing on CEONSS the server had only just started? Wow, didn't realise.

Anyway...off to see if Greece can score against Costa Rica...I think it will go to penalties...
