Yay! :bounce: There's my name there! :D

Do you play StarCraft II as well? My little bro is really into that one and I'll occasionally play it, too. Haven't played the original one in a while, but that's a real classic.

From Michigan... sweet! I lived in Indiana for a year (High School exchange). My oldest brother spent his exchange year in Michigan.

See you in-game! :D

I think UT is still by far and away the best FPS ever created. They got everything right, from the physics to the weapons to player enjoyment. I hope UT2k4 never dies (until they make a better one!)
This.
Well except from 007 Goldeneye for the N64 ofcourse :D I would give you a warm welcome but as a matter of fact you've been here longer than I have so.. All I can say is that it's a testimony to UT2k4s desingers that here we are, in 2014(!), still playing unreal.

whoa, many more replies than i anticipated ....

Ok first off, if im gonna rant about ANYTHING like A. Smith/capitalism, it's gonna be during MAGIC ISLE. With a beer in hand IRL, I'm jumping into the levi, hitting 2 on my keyboard, and going to town. (if you're interested to know I'm a Moderate Capitalist and believe it can't do everything that ought to be done.)

I haven't gotten into SC2 yet because I need a new desktop that can run it smoothly. Kinda lazy to change systems atm.

Yeah Michigan is the land of lakes :) over 10,000 of them actually, but only 5 are substantial. It's also home to FORD MOTOR !! You know, the builders of such quality vehicles like the escort and the Focus.... ha. hah! (joking aside, f-150s are pretty decent for the tag price. )

Yeah I hart brit culture. Lots of aspects to this such as our common history, but I think the moment I fell in love is when I saw some footage of your parliament houses on John Stewart. There was some seriously sophisticated mocking, endless guffawing and overall rowdiness like an Irish Sports Pub at 2:49 am. It was HILARIOUS :) I wish our politicians were that cool. Our political right elects lamers like Newt Gingrich, ugh.

Man, goldeneye.... I loved that, but how can you even tell they get the physics right when its so unclear/laggy? I suppose they get recoil more accurately than the assault rifle.... What I love about UT is things like the projectile variance on the goliath. You can SEE it's a good approximation to what a real tank fires like, like they gave a damn about real world statistical mechanics. And exploding mantas - overdramatic, but accurate enough.... That being said, i think if any of us tried to jump around in game like that, then we'd all have broken femurs >->

Thanks much for all the kind replies. Frag and/or Link you all in game :D

I'm fan of the Ford cars. :D I really love those cars.

I also think that Unreal Tournament 2004 is still the most decent FPS game, because it is challenging and you can always learn new things in it, so it won't become boring. I'd love to play Bombing Run and Double Domination again, but unfortunately nobody plays them these days. :(

Well, see you on the Battlefields! :)
