Well, I just need to make sure I have some backup snacks to keep your stomach from roaring.Anik wrote:Well, if we can eat you also afterwards, I guess it will be enough for the first day.Khoma wrote: Let's just hope I bring enough so you don't get grumpy...

If only he would know there is a 40 yo(!!) Glenlivet waiting for him. What a giftlaboRHEinz wrote:Hehhh, wait!!!
I wasn't saying I'd be able to attend on this very date, I just said that I'd might be able to bring this computer stuff to Hannover until then, most likely way earlier, depending on my friend's BDay party - to which he didn't invite for at all as yet (he's always been very reluctant to celebrate his BDay).
I totally agree with you, Xac! I would be ably to come up with some funds to give Ema's parents a nice gift. I won't be able to bring my desktop (way to much of a hassle to bring) but I will bring my mouse and keyboard. Also I will be bringing a lot of treats so Anik and Ema are happy during the time we will be staying there.Xac wrote:It might be a good idea for everyone attending to say what they will be able to bring PC wise.
I will bring a laptop for myself. I have bought a gaming keypad I'm going to try at the weekend, so I don't have to bring a full size keyboard.
I have an old Dell laptop I could bring as a spare, but I need to check how good it will be running UT as it is 2007 vintage. It will probably be ok, but I'll need to test it to check first to see if it's worth bringing.
Also...
I think it would be a nice gesture to Eman's parents if we could each put in a few Euros towards getting a thank you present for them. Can you imagine letting 10 or more people you've never met from all over Europe descend on your house and take it over for several days...and making them stay elsewhere for the duration? It's very generous of them...so I'm going to put 20 Euros towards a present for them, not everyone can afford that, but if you can chip in something, it would be a nice thing to do...and maybe, we'll be allowed to do the LAN party again at some point!
Excellent, Khoma!Khoma wrote:Also I will be bringing a lot of treats so Anik and Ema are happy during the time we will be staying there.
