The comedy legend Rik Mayall passed away today aged 56. Wanted to post something of his, which is hard to do because of the huge amount to choose from. Anyway gone for one of my favourite episodes of Bottom, Gas.

I've no idea what MSI's angle is supposed to be with this ad,
...but[t] I think I'm gonna stick with Vaio (and now with Lenovo?) all the same :/.
Also, we know that hackers have had to evolve their craft and skills to stay current with the constant changes in the net security space over the last decades, but what about their erstwhile brothers in ideological arms, the master manipulators of the public phone system, the phreakers? Where are they now?

Why is it that every TV show's new season has to be prefaced by a trailer always comprised of slow shots and set to dramatic music nowadays? Why can't we ever get something a bit more honest and accurate to the actual content? Well, some people do get just that, and I, for one, welcome Japan's more refreshing approach with this promo of 24 they put together:
