Guy almost hit by plane in Germany :o

Wow, that is a scary narrow miss right there! Seems that it happened on the island Helgoland, but it wasn't on the news at all today.

The comedy legend Rik Mayall passed away today aged 56. Wanted to post something of his, which is hard to do because of the huge amount to choose from. Anyway gone for one of my favourite episodes of Bottom, Gas.

Why is it that every TV show's new season has to be prefaced by a trailer always comprised of slow shots and set to dramatic music nowadays? Why can't we ever get something a bit more honest and accurate to the actual content? Well, some people do get just that, and I, for one, welcome Japan's more refreshing approach with this promo of 24 they put together:

EA keeps telling you in each year's E3 how their upcoming sports titles are more than just roster updates, but you jaded grumps just won't hear it. Well, whaddya have to say for yourselves now?
