I don't really like Michael Jackson's music.... (shocking, right?)

But if you say that you like "Thriller", you may enjoy this video, which is based on it...I think. :D

Yeah, but there's no stadium. I'm not sure if it's my awesomeness or B.O tbh :?

Not keen on MJ either, he had a few listenable songs, but he was a sad and messed up guy who just went from Bad to worse.

My favourite version of Earthsong was his performance at the Brit awards in 96, when the lead singer Jarvis Cocker from Pulp got fed up with MJ’s pseudo messianic grandstanding, came on stage and made farting impressions at the audience.

Watch from about 4mins in...

And here’s some Pulp:

I couldn't watch the first one due to the GEMA blocking it in Germany....(despite trying two proxies to circumvent that block, too)

Buuut, I managed to find parts of it and it looks hilarious! MJ performacne before Cocker bombed it was really over the top and ridiculous.

Lately I have this song stuck in my head. It's a bit older, but awesome!
Heroes del Silencio - Entre dos Tierras

Sad to see some of the old DDR spirit is still alive in Germany preventing free speech.

I remember back in 91 being at a schutzenfest, the Sky Dogs were on stage doing covers of well known hits, everyone was happy, the wall had come down, Germany was re-united, Ceaușescu had been deposed and there was such a spirit of hope in the air...

So get your lighters out, wave them in the air and try not to burn the beer tent down! :D

Not everything old is bad!

I haven't heard that song for a while, but I remember it.

Speaking of old stuff...how about this one originally from 81?

It's the remastered version, which I think is better than the original as Chrissie Hynde's voice has more depth to it.

The Kooks are a cool band. I love "She moves in her own way".

The Killers, anyone?
