In this video (5 min) from our german news they take a look at the english parlament (palace of westminster) and show how rotten it is inside.. sure it is still beautiful. Funny on that video is that there are some elictrician cabels where nobody knows from where it comes and where it leads.. they only know that there is electricity on it. That remindes me on one german "long time project" the new berlin airport where the same problems existed. The ranovation shall need 6 years.. and on the end of the video the reporter says (free translation): "Lets look who is faster. We with building our aiport or the englands with there renovation." Ok maybe you need to be a german to understand that.
