Zon3r just stop being a bellend. Fors is a better player than you in almost every aspect, get over it. Played with the guy on many maps (NV too) and he is a top noch player. It's better to have Fors in the falcon all round than some random new player, every time fors is in the falcon, the team he is on always wins, just better playing in my opinion.

No, they are also unbalanced. Not as unbalanced as the Falcon though.

I don't think you understand my point. The Falcon might have weaknesses but they're very minimal compared to other vehicles, while its strengths are far superior. You can not honestly think it is as easy to destroy as other flyers? They only one worse would be the Wasp because it's a bit faster.

Admit to yourself that you just resentfully and accept defeat with dignity. a long time ago I scolded my team (not only in ONS not only in UT2004 ) because she can't win because of weakness - now I give my advice and himself learning to correct this situation and support each soldier on the battlefield that he did not lose heart and learned something from me.

I believe you have misunderstood me with this too. I generally don't care how anyone plays and I find the diversity of fighting styles one of the finer points of UT2K4. In fact, I think you're quite a good well-rounded player. My only problem is when you coexist with the Falcon because I think doing such thing is lame and boring (I know you don't do it all the time). Regardless, that is another fighting style and I have to strive to defeat such a tactic to win.

Whatever. I don't really care about what you think of me. i never said i'm a top notch player, i never thought about myself as one. But one thing is 100% sure, i'm a fair player, one of the very few, you won't see me camping for any vehicle, or baselaming and similar sh*t that's ruining the gameplay. How long have you been playing with Fors? I know him for more than 2 years, that's enough time to have a precise picture about someone, don't you think? Back when he wasn't muted, he was quite talkative for someone who doesn't understand english. And i'm not talking about him spamming the chat, but when his team was losing, he was insulting them. There are only 2 players on the server, that are not too popular, Fors and Ebola(no, it isn't only my opinion), all because of their playstyle, if they change it, all would be different.

Yes. But unlike you I admit my guilt in the fact that the offended team. when you're doing half a job and your team, about 10 people, sits at the base and engaged in some rubbish prevent other players to play, or it may not go beyond 1 meter and destroy a couple of people, within 20 minutes - this is VERY frustrating, and any man should understand.
But YOU also insult players - you accusing me of this and you think that you are it allowed? I also doubt that you're a fair a player. you accused me in the camping, although you yourself camping ion-tank on the slated-world. You contradict yourself, is suspicious.

Fors, a couple of times now I've noticed you camping right next to your enemy's core, sniping at people, even when the core is vulnerable and you could take it down...but you ignore it. Why do you do that? I find it frustrating, it is ONS we are playing, not DM, so why not take down the core? It seems to me as if you want to taunt the other team for some reason. Could you explain?

I mean, I can't find anything constructive nor positive for the community in this conversation. Just one guy that is very likely a selfish player, and some other guys arguing with him or with each others about that.

Yeah, this mess is only still going on because I hadn't gotten round to doing anything about it, as I'd already decided to do since last night, in this batch of my posts just yet. Otherwise, you're absolutely correct, Karma and as a mod here, I'm sorry for it.

Folks, this is pointless. Fashioning an impromptu dogpile public court out of an intro thread is both unseemly and unproductive. Yes, many of us may have been around long enough to have gotten a representative enough sampling of Fors' playstyle and character that we've already made up our minds about him, and his introduction (mission statement?) here might have come off in contrast to that as well. In the end, it's nobody's place to tell anyone how to think of themselves. What we do know is that Fors is undoubtedly good and useful in a custom flyer and, as Funky pointed out, he's not an unskilled player in on-foot combat either. If there's anything beyond that, as far allegations of disruptive ingame behaviour or even cheating are concerned, from any party, I'm gonna have to ask you all to stop leveling any kinda baseless accusations here and bring whatever problem you may have with another player to the proper subforum, along with whatever proof you have of any claimed infraction.
As you all know, CEONSS rules enforcement never has and never will function on a hearsay or slandering basis, and outside of that process, the only thing that casual bickering among members can ever accomplish is to increase toxicity and turn everybody off the community. I'd hope that no one here would place themselves or any grudges above everyone else like that.
More specifically here, nobody is going to win anything by putting one guy in a corner and beating him over the head with previous conclusions here and, to the degree that I too induced this, I'd like to apologize to Fors here and now. Many of us may be skeptical about him - and I believe there's even been some administrative action against him in the past that may be reinforcing that - but if anything, his registering here and recent attempt to introduce himself shows a person trying to extend a hand, to appeal to the community and get involved. Part of that process may be hearing out and taking into account whatever previous problems others might have had with him, but trust is never a one way street. This is a new effort and if it's gonna have any hope of succeeding, we should all recognize it as such and allow for some room. Maybe Fors will stay the same, maybe things might even get worse, but there's also the chance that he'll try to work towards fixing previous social/etiquette issues and become as much a friend to others as anyone else.

Enough issues have been raised here already, so, please, let's just stop with any attacks and negativity, let's just welcome this new attempt in good faith (or just silently abide, if you can't bring yourself to do that) and see where we go from here. As I've said before, I do believe I'm addressing a group of mature adults when I talk with the CEONSS community, so I see no reason to lock the thread. It should be able to move ahead on a more optimistic course on its own. I hope everyone will prove me right. Welcome, again, to CEONSS, Fors.
