This HaHa guy was doing this even when the core was locked. Players in general dislike this map, so it's a reasonable suggestion to replace this map with Minus-TMU.
Like Kent said, don't get angry; wise up, go around the ion's no-man's-land area, power up first (U.dmg, nuke or both) and attack it from the rear.
It pains me quite a bit to admit this, but when it comes to a certain few maps like
corridor spam Tanks-a-Lot, MagicIsle, Dria and a couple o' others, this server's crowd still has a lot to learn compared to players in other popular servers where they're (tremendously) more frequently rotated and most ppl there have understood the team tactics that
work and can carry them to victory. We may have an overall higher personal skill average, but CEONSSers will rarely coordinate or work as a team (missing voice chat plays a role there too) and going up against a threat like HaHa posed there again n' again in the same way (repeatedly spawning at the spammed node) with no tactical forethought simply won't work.
Does that mean that HaHa was acting in an unsportsmanlike manner, or even that SpamALot has fundamental problems that should see it removed from the roster? First off, believe it or not, that's one of the established ion uses that allows a team to get the most out of it, and it's not immoral either when you examine exactly what's going on: the 2 proximal primaries are linked and, thus, always open to attack, so suppressing threats arising there from across the map is reasonable and defensible. The other use when the game's progress is still at 50/50 involves picking up a (dmg amped) linker (or two) and heading forward from the ion's spawn, but the central area can often prove lethal to a lone ion, so it's a method only the more gung-ho players choose (it's often my choice, btw, as I get terribly bored playing a conservative, camping game). Otherwise, the ion stays near the proximal primary, with its ass to the wall, making sure the corridor is threat-free and constantly being nursed to max health by a few, support role teammates. You know, until the nuke I'm guiding around the map explodes over all their heads

The (unfavourable) comparison to MInus-TMU-Nightwolf, that supposedly points towards SpamALot's need for removal, is unfortunate and problematic too here IMO. Whereas the former, as previously outlined, is prohibitive of two among the three cardinal playstyles (pedestrian and air combat)
throughout the map, thereby significantly reducing the gameplay quality Minus-TMU-Nightwolf can offer, Tanks-A-Lot does provide areas and opportunity for ped fights that will matter to the match's outcome (middle center, top center & nuke pickup, top tunnels) and can, thus, be regarded as a Tier 2 map - not so great because of all the spam, mind, but still a true ONS map with room for strategic choices and a number of different viable playstyles. The "chance for a comeback" criterion you brought up in a previous post does matter too when evaluating maps, but it's not nearly as high in significance as "actual gametype adherence" and "degree of playstyle plurality". All in all, the server can tolerate SpammyCorridors, but has to draw the line before Minus-TMU-Nightwolf. Doesn't mean that I'd personally ever recommend either one over a dozen other available options if ingame myself, but hey, tastes vary.
Btw, fixed your YT embed; make sure you remember to strip the superfluous php variables beyond the video ID (v=...) if you want the finicky phpBB script we got to work next time
