If you stumble over a compressed .uz2 file, you can easily decompress it by using UCC.exe which is in the 'System'-folder from UT2004.
When you have multiple files it's better to write a simple loop in a little batch file.
For decompress:

Is execute the compress command for every file in the folder. With 'pause' the cmd-window will stay until you press a key. So you can take a look at the compression rate.
Procedure:
Create a new folder and put every .uz2 file inside which you want to decompress. Here it's "C:\UT2004\01_UCC"
Create a .txt file (one for decompress and one for compress if needed) and write the code into it.
Rename it in a .bat file (like 01_UCC_decompress.bat) and put it into your System folder form UT.
Just open it.
UCC will make a de/compressed copie from each file. Sort your folder by Tags and pass the files in the right UT-folder.
To train your dodging you can use the maps from the Dodge Professional Modification. There side and servers are long death. But a fwe guys are still around in UT. http://www.moddb.com/mods/dodge-profess ... /downloads
You can load the starter pack (32 MB) All files in it are safe.
When u want more maps you can load the big pack (700 MB) . When u load the bigpack just grap the maps and the needed files, perhaps the trickjump gamemod, too. I was not loocking over all files in the bigpack but they should all fine, but one exeption: all files with 'Farns' inside. It's a skin, it is harmles but it could cause problems on some servers.

Most of these I learned the hard way, from getting killed by them! But in case you don't already know...
1. If you are under fire from a hidden SPMA, don't just shoot down the camera. Instead, lock onto the camera with an AVRiL. Your AVRiL rocket will follow the camera's signal all the way back to hit the hidden SPMA.
2. If you want to shoot rockets at a node that's too far away to target accurately, switch to the Lightning Gun or Sniper Rifle, zoom in and centre your crosshairs. Then switch back to your Rocket Launcher and fire away!
3. If your teammate is firing at a target with his Link Gun, help him by linking to him with your Link Gun for added firepower. If enough players link together, even a Minotaur can't survive it.
4. Have a Manta? Have Spider Mines? Pile as many Spider Mines as you can onto your Manta before taking it for a ride in enemy territory.
5. Mantas also make great projectiles. Just drop your Manta in front of enemy footsoldiers, then hit it with the Shock Rifle to send it spinning into the crowd with deadly results.
6. Bypass a Paladin's shield by firing an AVRiL rocket over the top of the shield, then quickly locking onto the Paladin so the rocket abruptly arcs down and hits the top of it.

I just think that that was not meant bye "showing the easy way". I never get that wall shield thing.^^ But which distance do you get on "DPM-Score2"?
The easier way is to stand near that node and just shieldjump upwards. For all who can't do a shieldjump you can use an aliases-button.

Find a free key like "Enter" and put: Enter=Hammerjump to it. Save and fine. Now point down and hold that key.. than the shildgun will load and on release you will make a shieldjump.
however, you did not pay attention to a second reason for the jump=) 9 is connected to 7, but how quickly to get to 7? with this trick you can get there by double damage and (probably) spider quickly destroy the node! + you will have time to destroy from this point the Central node. I have been able to do that in battle one time out of 10, but it strongly helped)
Ok I'm gonna try to explain a faster dodge jump, hope I can explain this right.
So normally when you dodge jump, most ppl hold down the forward/backward key's (W/S) and then double tap with the left/right (A/D) key's -> spacebar.
If you want to have a faster dodge jump you have to hold down the left/right key's (A/D), hold your mouse in a slight angle to keep you moving forward and then double tap forward/backward (W/S) -> spacebar.
Some ppl probably allready know this, but I'm sure not everyone does since this version of dodge jumping isn't writin or explained in most movement guides.
Good point, you usually have to pick that up from trial servers. To add to what you wrote, the "side dodge" (with the left/right keys) offers more distance than the "front dodge" (with front and back keys), but the "wall dodge" offers even more distance than those. If you need to clear a gap and there's a wall there then jumping (only once) and hugging the wall for as long as you can will help achieve the maximum distance.
Of course, then there's shield-jumping and bio-jumping which can offer extreme distances, but those aren't things you really need Onslaught. Those are more in the CTF domain.
