I'm constantly giving examples for balancing the game by switching to the losing team, or when i join the server, if i can't be in the losing team, i'm not playing, but unfortunately, i don't really see players doing that. My mission is going straight off the cliff, oh well, i tried :D
It has been noticed and is appreciated Zoner. Please keep doing it

I do sometimes too, you are not alone o:o
Anik joins the losing team many times, because she enjoys a balanced, challenging battle.

I've found that asking for someone from the winning team/specators to join will usually work. If not, try directly asking a single player. Funky, Dally, Witchy (Sorcery) have all joined my losing team, and they are just the ones I can recall off the top of my head. I think we have many players here willing to join the losing team. They may not make a habit of always supporting the weaker team, but they will help - with or without being asked. :)

Hope I didn't arrive way too late on this one, so here's my 2 cents:

MTMU can be more about strategy and dexterity than many NV maps, if you really sink into it. I've played this one alot and very few times did it end before overtime - and that says alot about balance, inspite of all the tank power available for campers and spawnkillers. You've got just the right number of nodes relative to the tank power and they're positioned really well regarding speed of reach and earliest shot distance. And the 2-primaries setup is much more in favour of balance than the 3-primaries setup.

The challenge at hand here is to manage to sneak up on adversaries with a huge (speeding) vehicle. And then move on. Stay in one place and you get hammered really fast. The average lifetime in a tank is much lower than you would expect, so your best game is to drive fast and shoot accurate. Learn the spawn times of different vehicles, time your spawn accordingly, and use each tank to its advantage. Every tank can be overcome by another, not even the Mino isn't safe on this map. It's not that simple, but once you figure out a "dance" it can be a gloriuos joyride.

Plus, the all-tank gameplay forces you to be aware of a much greater area around you then when on foot. Shells can hit you from 2-3 nodes away. Constant zooming in and out to explore your surroundings is mandatory.

You may know it as noob heaven, but for me this map is the definition of steam blowing - strategy and awesome vehicles in one package. I absolutely loved to learn how to gracefully handle a tank on this very map.

Also, I subscribe to the opinion that this should be substituted for Tanks-a-Lot. TaL is much less balance-friendly.
