Oh, hey, CEONSS music thread, didn't see you there! Long time, no see. How's it going? Good? Great! Say, how about a week-long span of VGM tunes, seeing as we're also just about to head into E3 week next Tuesday? I've built up quite a backlog of good stuff I've been meaning to share with you here (yes, I do take down notes even for that ). There'll be single tracks, new artists and sites introduced, entire game albums posted and fun will likely be had by all. In fact, fun will most likely be mandatory. So, whaddya say?
No pressure though, I'll just hang around over here humming this little ditty in my mind while you decide...

No interest in a VGM drive then, huh? Ah well, suppose I can just keep doing 'em at the more usual, leisurely pace I've kept up till now n' maybe see about proposing it later on at some point again. We'll see. For now though, here's another one.
Nintendo and Sega were pretty bitter rivals back in the 90s, but after Sega's last couple o' console attempts run their hardware division into the ground, they abandoned those aspirations, switched over to exclusive software dev n' publishing and started extending hands in all directions, including that of their old nemesis'.
Although Sega has been known to put out a few coal lumps for Ninty's hardware over the last decade (looking at you, Conduit, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Riders et al.), there've been other occasions where Sega's previous hardware expertise (most notably with arcades) and Nintendo's IP and internal game design chops collided with excellent results, such as the case of one of the best console and arcade racers of all time, F-Zero GX/AX. As a franchise, F-Zero's already had a pretty kickass & iconic pedigree since its SNES debut that extends to its soundtracks' quality (its storyline, not so much, OTOH), so naturally folks were expecting yet another line of fresh remixes of its old, popular tunes for its 21st century, GCN iteration to blow 'em away. While they did get plenty of that, some other, pretty great new material also turned a few heads. Btw, did I mention this game's also one of the fastest racers in existence? That also played a major part in its allure too, as you can find out if you ever get lucky enough to come across and try its rolling cabin arcade incarnation. Anyway, here's what you rock out to while racing Big Blue in F-Zero GX/AX. Try to keep up !
(Picked this one for its audiovisual spectacle combo; the tune itself can also be heard in its entirety and in even better audio Q here though.)
For reference, here's also the classic Big Blue theme's GX/AX cover in all its shreddin', rockin' glory:

Still can't get that song out of your head, Cat? No worries. Science tells us, the best way to get rid of an infectious tune is to flush it out with copious amounts of other such tunes. So, give this combo a try n' call me in the morning :
And, lastly, something more relatable and closer to home for Cat ,
