I'm starting this thread as a place to put info about cool free games, which from time to time appear on platforms as Steam, GOG, Origin, etc.

For now, the classic MDK. The older audience I'm sure is familiar with the title and does not require recommendation, for the younger ones - get it, play it, enjoy it!

First I was very happy with your link, installed the game and played for about 45 minutes. Then the game blocked and it crashed my windows 7 completely. Had to do system restore to fix windows

Sorry to hear that, Hawk. I've finished first city without any issues and I'm also on win7. Can't see how a game could mess up a system that bad. It doesn't install any device drivers or other stuff that could have access to kernel or core OS stuff, perhaps it was sth else, just the timing makes you believe it's MDK. In any case, I hope you got it resolved
