Friday, December 4, map voting is not enabled?!

This thread seems to pertain to the main CEONSS server, moving it to the proper forum...

Also, be advised that the server had an unusual kind of, umm, spasm about 10 minutes ago, during this MasterBath match, as well. Everyone who was ingame at the time seems to've gotten disconnected simultaneously.

Thanks! There is no crash log, so maybe the host had a hiccup.

I was just on the main server (Wednesday Nov.2 2022) and the option for map voting is gone ! I thought I was going crazy so I joined the Imposter server and the map vote button is still there.

This is very unusual and quite concerning. Going by the server's stats, this CaptainSors_Island_of_Pwnage match last night is the last time the values for "Map Voting" and "Kick Voting" (see top of the page) are shown to be set to "enabled". After that, what seems to happen is that the server switches to a trajectory of matches all in alphabetically sequential map filename order, with a break 2 matches later for Gunshop (IIRC, the server's crash map), after which the trend resumes up 'til now, corroborating the report. Edit: Also confirmed via a personal, quick pop-in to discover that the Vote button was indeed missing.

Thanks for the info! This has happened before. It seems occasionally (don't know what thriggers it) the voting handler in the ini will switch from xvoting to OLstats's voting handler. I changed it back and it works again now.

Interestingly enough I was reading the webadmin until ~1am this morning and no one said anything...
