I recentely joined your server and forum, so I thought to finally stop by to do my presentation :wormie:

My real name is Paolo and I'm from Italy. I played UT since when the 2k3 came on the shelfs, but I stayed on the single player mode until like a month ago, because I didn't have a fast enough internet connection... Until now!

I really love Onslaught and I like the way you run things on this server. And you have some pretty good maps, too!

Just a thing: even if I'm not a beginner of UT in general, I'm really a noob when it comes to multiplayer online gaming... I'm still trying to catch up with the "chat language", the new maps, the modded vehicles and so on... So please be kind "^^

What I meant to say is, it's awesome to see ppl joining us and finding out for their first time how great this game (and gametype) really is online even now; well, especially now. It's one of the reasons servers like this are still carrying on out there despite the game approaching its 10th anniversary: to inspire fellow modding gamers and keep the message alive that it's gameplay as good, varied and balanced as this that we should be expecting developers to continue delivering on as a priority in their future games instead of seeing their publishers waste overblown AAA budgets on celebrity voice acting, a ridiculous amount of mocapped animations, obscene marketing campaigns and clueless golden boy CEOs out to nickle n' dime their customers in every turn through anti-used game selling measures, (O)DLC, microtransactions, supposed F2P schemes n' other assorted bullshit. Meh, better end this minirant here before I get even more worked up about that again...
