I was wondering ingame whether a RA2 vehicle pack for UT2004 existed, but I couldn't find one. I think it would be good to have of those vehicles. I hope there will be a modder here, who would make these. :D

Well I'm going to show you some vehicles and I give you a little description about them.

Apocalypse Tank
http://media.moddb.com/images/groups/1/ ... 3donl1.png

The Apocalypse Tank is a double-barreled tank armed with additional rocket launchers. This tank is a one man army as it can deal with almost everything. In ONS this tank would be rare.

Prism Tank

The Prism Tank shoots laser, but it's weapon needs to recharge after each shot. The laser isn't good against armored vehicles, but against infantry, it is devastating.

Tesla Tank

The Tesla Tank uses electricity as a weapon. It is both efficient against infantry and armor, but not too efficient though.

Well there is a good mod for Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge, called Mental Omega v3, which has some good units too.

Shadow Tank

The Shadow Tank is invisible until it attacks. It uses lasers to dissolve it's enemies.

Aerial Fortress Irkalla

Well if I have to compare this unit with a vehicle in UT2004, then I'd say that it is the Leviathan of the air. It's a flying fortress, which uses lasers and imploders.

I haven't seen a RA2 vehicle pack for ut2004 but you could possibly use some existing vehicles for a RA2 themed map. I like your thinking though

Well they aren't available for UT2004. I posted these here, because there are lots of modders and I hoped/hope that somebody will make some of them. :)

Based on your description, it looks like...

Apocalypse Tank == Lobreaker (from MinusTankMeUp)

Prism Tank == Rail Tank (from SlatedWorld)

Tesla Tank == Rail Tank shooting lightnings instead of rails - think about it, the physics are the same for both rails and lightnings, it's just the graphics that are different.

Aerial Fortress Irkalla == Dragon (from Grit, OmahaBeach) with nuke launcher instead of cannon gun; bo-(wait for it...)-ring!

Shadow Tank == crossover between Stealth Badger (from Floodgate) and Rail Tank. This one might be worth trying, although for me it is clear that the invisibility trick is much more useful in the existing Stealth Badger, because it's faster and can sneak up better arround (or away from) enemies; if en enemy spots your (pseudo)invisibility "camouflage" you'll be a sitting duck if you're in a slow tank.

Did I mention I absolutely hate vehicles with rails/laser guns that kill you in one shot? And turrets? And players who make use of these in a neverending cowardly defense instead of doing some actual work and adding some positive value to the game? (see Railtank in SlatedWorld, turrets in TripleSlap and pretty much everywhere else too) No? Well... I did now.

Railgun Tank =/= Prism Tank in my opinion. As I've said Prism Tank is good against infantry, but bad against tanks. As far as I know each weapon has 2 types of damage: one to infantry and one to armored vehicles. I guessed this, because for example as far as I've seen Scorpion's weapon does devastating damage to vehicles, but less damage to infantry. Dunno though, I'm not a modder.

Aerial Fortress Irkalla =/= Dragon, because Irkalla would shoot the lasers in a fast rate of fire. :P And it's hp would be around 5000.

Well for the Apocalypse Tank. Dunno I think it's design would be fine looking ingame. :)

And everything can be used for camping and defending cowardly. The difference between vehicles in this viewpoint is that while some vehicles do support this (high amount of hp, good firepower, bad speed) others don't really (small amount of hp, bad firepower, good speed). It depends on the player mostly. On Slated Worlds I always use the Railgun Tank to attack when it is possible. If the situation is dire then I try to hold the frontline with it, so I'm defending.
