Would you replace the Badger with a Mark II?

There is an edit of Nevermore working from the original version on the way, but it's not ready for beta testing yet.

A quick update of the Badgers on our current version can be done tonight

-----edit-----

ONS-Nevermore-TankMeUp-RC1-SP2 now on the server.

- Updated Badgers, Hammerheads and IonTanks.
- Updated Nodes and Weapon Lockers.
- Removed all ammo pickups and increased ammo in Weapon Lockers.
- Removed collision on street lights.
- Removed extra skins on NewWeaponBases
- Changed map screenshot to a single image and removed the others.

As i say, there will be a proper edit coming soon'ish which will have all the bugs fixed. Once it's ready for beta testing we can all go over what vehicles should stay/go etc

Hole in Nevermore Tankmeup

Hi All,

I'd like to report that I found a gap in the Nevermore Tankmeup map that allows a player on foot to get behind the scenery, so to speak.

Sorry, I didn't think to take a screenshot. The gap is accessible from atop the ledge running east-west that is located in the northwest corner of the map, just west of the Red Team's Node 3. Going through it allows a player to run south underneath the western hills all the way to the Red Core.

There doesn't seem to be an equivalent gap in the corresponding Blue corner.

I'm sure our brilliant and hard-working mappers will want to patch this ASAP because it gives a player a completely sheltered place from which to snipe at will. :nono:

Cheers!

Hey Eddie, thanks for the bug report and welcome to the forum

We've got a rebuild of Nevermore on the way which should fix all the current issues and be better suited to a wider range of players. Should be ready for beta testing by the end of next week

That ONS-Nevermore-ECE-T32-2019CAE edit has some problem like invisible walls and holes which was fixed in the most currend version of the TankMeUp one. I also don't like the lightning from it, it's to bright.
The nukes are missing and to jump to the target painter is not easy as you probably need the shildgun.
Haven't had a look in the editor yet.

The vehicle layout seems to be liked by a few players more than the all super tank version.

So that finding bugs is not easy I would suggest to use the most current version, fix the remaining holes (on the prime was one) and invisible walls and make the vehicle changes. May keep one powerfull vehicle like an Ion-tank at the base, so that a comeback is easier.
I think there was also suggestions to make some tunnel from the base to the midle, or in it's direction?

Get rid of the fog!

makes the maps "at night" give the regular players a chance against the ...."i built a special computer just to see across a map in a 15 year old game" crowd.

Thats why we made the maps like Minus tank me up and Dreamus, Dawn at night get rid of the hack advantage.

Alas! A map without fog will end up with fifty percent less fps...

you make it night time. black sky.

For low fps machines its fine. you see less actually than with normal fog. if you want to see farther you adjust your gamma and can see as far as your vehicle can fire.
