Storage Facility

I think the map favors one side over another. One team has a clear view of both center nodes and can shoot them with a tank from a long distance, while the other has a view of one node blocked by a map decoration. This is a big strategic disadvantage for the team with blocked view I would recommend correcting it either by blocking view for another team too, or clearing for both.

Btw. Ema I stole your picture for this.
You have 3 parts on Storage and you can attack both midle nodes from 2 of them. It's even you just have to play with another tactic. ;)

ONS-StorageFacility-]I[-C-beta1

- Deleted Bulldog SM and replaced with boxes copied from the other side of the map.
- Updated nodes to OS2_RNH.
- Updated weapon lockers and maxed out all ammo apart from Mines.
- Replaced stock Scorpions with Web Caster version.
- Changed preview map to single image.
- Replaced teleporter pads with ones from packages.

How's that?

Thanks! Didn't know it's deliberately made to enforce different approach for both teams. I still like blue from 8 best ;) Nearest the tank spawn point and can be easily reinforced by team members.

No prob. That's what it's there for. (I haven't updated it in ages, though. :oops: )

The web caster will be a useful addition!

Damn! Here we were trying to do a quick, sneaky edit while you were afk...

:D

Miau make a good point about the Web Casters being too dominate on this map and suggested just having them at the primaries with a 60 second respawn time?

In that case I'd replace the two scorps at the base with them and not place them anywhere else, to help with comebacks/defense.

Had a really good look over this map and found quite a lot wrong such as misaligned textures, static meshes outside of the map, wood texture on one of the primary node wall, boxes with no collision and a hundred other things.

Too many to list but the main changes are,

- Replaced primary node Scorpion's with Manta's.
- Remade primary node doors. Careful with the Manta's as they now damaged when they hit the doors rather then go through.
- Changed some textures so pillars and tunnels are easier to see at distance.
- Increased Web-Caster's respawn time to 60 seconds.

Nice Cat!

The Webcaster is awesome and a big plus to this map, but not 4 of them.
The damage is higher than I was thinking. When you hit a tank with the full charged 16 projectiles it's gone. And a node with two shots.

I would ask either take one and increase the respawntime to 90 seconds so that there are just two on the map. Or increase the resporne time to 140 seconds.

And to add that you can now attack both midle nodes from all three ways.
