skin on ceonss

Hi people i have a little question for who can help me: i have tried to install few new skin downloaded from unreal sites (e.g. beyondunreal etc.) i have installed it but while in single play mode seems to be worked when i have joined on ceonss they don't worked but i have a gorge default skin i need to do any special procedure of installation? I have never tried on other server.

Please help me i want to play with these stuff

thanks for the PM - wouldn't have been necessary though, I'm watching the forums ;-) Just didn't have enough time for a response. I'm posting publically now to let all know my opinion and reason:

Sorry, no, I won't upload custom skins.

The reason is simple: The more custom stuff installed on the server, the more packages have to be downloaded to every single client. If the amount of files is getting too large, the likeliness will get higher of new players aborting while initially connecting to the server.

Sure, one single skin wouldn't hurt. But if once started, some more ppl will come up asking "Hey, I wan't that Bender skin!", "gimme the BinLaden please!" and so on.

I know it's cool when you see Hitlers, Skeletons and Martians running around for the first time. But after a - very short - while, you won't even pay attention anymore. It's like telling the same joke again and again ;-)

There's another ONS-server available with a huge load of custom mods and skins. The initial download takes ages... My guess is that exactly this is the reason why not many players use to be online there.

Sorry, but ceonss won't become like that.

i understand your choice my was a simple request cause i seemed to see several "unofficial" skin and i have tried to use a new skin without success and then ....but np i same play on ceonss my only ons server.

What kind of skin do you use? If i can download it, i will probably see you in your full brightness.
Sometimes i use a Smith, in the case when Kin-Fors is present.
From yesterday i use the updated Selkies, can be downloaded from here:

One more thing:
If anyone would like to use custom skin, the angels do not recommended, the one hand because they do not always work for all,
and on the other hand uses custom sounds (such as Calamity), which are not allowed.
If you not believe in me, try it for three times, and you will be banned by anti TCC!

i was using this one, but since noone could see it, i switched to kragoth. but i will use it again
