Just set up a Discord server for us. https://discord.gg/X4V8THM
There are channels with rolls and some for everyone. So you need a registrated mail and account there. And join the server. We can also talk about more/ other channels for special rolls if you like. Thats me: Miauz5555C#8832

How you can set up an account:

1. Create a new E-mail for it. Web.de, gmx.com don't requier you to verify via mobile and the address and name will not checked until you buy something there (what you should not do, just read before clicking).
2. Register an account on https://discordapp.com/register using the new mail and a unique name.
3. Logout.
4. Verifire your mail.. probably the mail from discord is in the spam folder. (Browser will open.)
5. Logout.
6. Download GoogleChrome. (I recomment to not login with your google account in it.)
7. If you use Chrome just for that the default settings are fine.. if you use it allways than you should have no problem with them at all.^^
8. Use this link in Chrome: https://discord.gg/X4V8THM to go on the server.
9. Log in and join a Text- and Voice-channel. (You first can only join the public channels without a role.)
10. Setting up your mic sensivity with the help from a friend.
11. You don't need to logout from a "server", just logout from your account. If you leave a server you need a new invitation to join it again.

Joining a Server.

Channels.. Join them simply via click on them.

Mute mic, all, settings. Rightclick on your picture to set a status (online, buise, invisible..)

Insite settings. The mic sensivity.. if activatet you can see a red line moving on the yellow one when speaking. But it's not 100% correct. Left down is logout.

I recomment this text setting.. but it's up to you.

Cool that you've set summit up for players but, If there's a way of putting me off setting up an account and using Discord, this is it. But i gotta say the features are cool compared to other similar programs, also free.

Apart from the faff and shoddy sounding privacy details of making a account. The only question i have is this, Is Discord making the Teamspeak server reduntant? If not, what is this going to get used for?

Tbh they have nearly the same privacy things as facebook regarding the data and so on. And if you do it like me, there is no problem.

You also can use it via "one time season" insite a browser. I could set up a textchannel room with more rights for unregistratet, as well as a voice chat room?

At the moment we have both. The future will see what happent to the TS3.

Well, we are barely using TS these days. If discord seems to work fine, I don't see why Cat needs to pay extra for the TS server.

Exact.

There are 4 rolls for now:

@everyone: All without a roll. (grey name)
just the text and voicechat rooms with: general and (public) infront. Can't read chat logs.

Friends: Can join all channels, speak, chat and read the chatlogs. Can't use text to speach messages.

Ceonss-Players: Same as "Friends" but can use text to speach messages and can give the roll "Friends" to other players.

Admins: All rights.

At the moment there are 3 people on the server. Daly, Small and myselve.
As said we can put up more rolls and speacial channels for that rolls if you like. I'm still not sure if everything is working as I want with the rights.. so if you miss a right post it here and I will fix it.

It would nice if we could try it on the match event. Everybody may needs a few seconds to set up the mic sens, but than it should work fine.

I think I've got this sorted now with an account. I noticed that there is someone always online called MatBot with a blue BOT symbol next to it. What's that about?

It's a Bot called MatBot.
It's a nice thing which can help moderating (like deleting messages, restrict users from using it, set spam protection, and so on) and other cool things. You can use it in the nsfw-channel. Write !help in it and it will send you a list of commands. You can play a hangman game or other games, it converts text to ASCI symbols, posts random pictuares (cats, dogs, porn,..), and many other cool things. Just try it. You can write all you want in the nsfw-channel as long it's within the laws of your country and so on.
