Server move!

And my contribution, well, I think it was just some few little hints, so, 99% of the server move was definitely your own work
I know you weren't fishing for compliments.

Peg said the same thing about the numbering. I doubt most people know we are on server 14 now, though. I used 2.0 to make it clear which server is newer when peeps see both on the list. Also, this is what Omni is using for their new server, so I thought it would be a familiar concept to our players who know Omni. I intend to rename CEONSS 2.0 back to just CEONSS in a few days.

Btw, does every OS update count as a new server? Because we were on Linux 18.04 before, so in that case, we might even be on server 15 or 16 at this point... (would need to look up how many OS updates I've done).

Ah okay, this makes sense, thanks.

Nope, only new hardware or new installations from scratch or a new ISP.

Server move!

Attention!

After some very encouraging news from OMNI, we have also installed the BandwithFix mutator on our server.
Basically they noticed that the game engine will decrease the outgoing data for everyone once a server has more than 16 players.
The mutator will remove this limit and let to a noticeable improvement over at OMNI.

However, once your client netspeed is above 10000, there will be a bug with your server browser. It will be missing information such as ping (in the general server browser) and players, map name and ping in the Favorites tab. They will re-appear once you click on each server.

You can get around it by installing this file locally (this is not a server mutator) and changing your user.ini (see the readme file that is included):
BrowserFix_1.1.zip

Thank you for sharing your work with us!
