Just caught Vorpal on the server alone, no other players (I arrived in Spec to see what he was doing, as I noticed maps cycling very quickly on the server), opening maps that he doesn't like (mostly tank/vehicle rich maps - Nevermore, Kingdom, Minus, Tanksalot, etc.), starting the map and then leaving quickly to go on and do the same to the next map he doesn't like so we don't get to play those maps when all the other players show up later..

I wondered why so many of our old favourite maps were marked as 'already played' this week, now we know why.

When I asked him why he was doing that he ignored my question.

One solution would be to not lock maps after they've been 'played' or to shorten the time the maps are locked after being played to an hour or two, othrwise we're all forced to play only the maps he likes. I've never seen anything so selfish before...

Emma (and good ol' Admins), can you please address this issue?

My guess is that he was either trying to run the sequence down to get to a certain map or trying to familiarize himself with some maps. I'll send him a link to our map pack.

The map repeat limit is currently at 18. To make maps available again after 1-2 hrs would mean reducing it to something below 10, which sounds... a bit too low.
Probably do need to lower it a bit, though.

Seems Vorpal was trying to unlock maps he liked, because the map repeat limit was moving along too slowly. I've lowered the map repeat limit to 10 and asked Vorpal not to swap through maps in the future.

Maybe cycle through the ones with the highest sequence .. so not the most played but the underdogs, if necessary.
