Hey froys, welcome back.
If it's been more than 16-17 months since you last tried to play UT2004 online, and by "I can no longer connect with my UT2004" you mean that your News tab shows an "unable to connect message" when you select Join Game from the main menu and your ingame server browser shows no active entries as well (Favorites tab works differently, btw), your game might be trying to connect to Epic's Master Servers, which were shut down in January 2023. In that case, following the advice in this post should fix the problem.
