Aaaand with Funky's latest contribution in (welcome, btw), the music thread just went over the 200 posts mark! Man, to think it took 14 months for it to reach the first 100 (Jun 2012 - Aug 2013) but only 4 to double that, it makes you wonder how soon before we hit the next milestone - or 500 even - now that we got a few more talkative ppl on board. Anyways, gj, everyone, and keep the good tunes coming!

What's that now? You'd like something memorable to commemorate the occasion? Why, here you go then:

Eyes in the skies.

The kooks are most god awful pile of fake indie crap ever to have walked the earth. They should be tried for crimes against humanity

I think I've posted this before but I think it deserves a second listen. One woman, one instrument, thousands in the palm of her hand. :yoman:

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 1:

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

Here's some slower music. You may know Lene Marlin for her song "Unforgivable Sinner". Here's my personal favorite from her.

And here is a German singer:

I'm just hoping it's Peggie's wonderful sense of irony at work...

But just in case he goes one further and posts Kylie and Jason, here's some Manics...

Glad you liked it! The Manics did some good stuff, but I still can't listen to an album of theirs in its entirety without feeling depressed...no wonder one of the leading band members took a long walk along a short bridge and was never seen again. :(

Anyway, it's Friday the 13th...my last day in my current job and the last time I have to drive home from London on a Friday night. :D

So what do you do when you've been driving non-stop for 4 hours and there's still 1 hour to go until home and you've had the radio on, you've wound down the window and slapping yourself in the face is no longer keeping you awake?

Then it's karaoke time! Ok, so you don't want to turn the cheese factor all the way up to 11 and go the whole John Denver, so who do you turn to?

Obvious really...has to be Roy! :wohoo:

And if you're a girl, there's always Cyndi's version...(I'll ignore the fact Celine Dion did a cover too) :D

So sit back in your seat, wind down the window, take a deep breath and sing along, loud and clear and let those endorphins carry you home!
