Actually I'd prefer if people didn't call it lag if it isn't lag. Find the right name if you want the slightest chance of getting it fixed. There's low framerate, constantly high ping, occasional short freezes, ping spikes, and so on. And they all have different reasons.

Wormbo, can you explain the best way of discriminating those various problems? :D

It's a fantastic map! I'd forgotten how good it was.

No framerate issues here, and my computer is so old that it runs on gas...

:? Wasn't meant to be a joke, I'm just a noob when it comes to software and diagnosing problems. :)

Oh, i know it isn't a lag. Always wondered why people use this word in connection with low performance and framedrops.

BUT: Nobody understood me in the past, when i didn't use the word lag :wtf:. So i need to.

Some think it's a problem with the bad design here which pulls down your cpu-performance.
But i sometimes get mad about the fact that it still stutters on my fast system with the recently new bought hardware and fresh windows. I hate this map for the stutter, but love it for the gameplay with a handful of players.

BTW: I think i can remember, that it once ran smoother. But i have no idea what has changed since that time.

I'd like to see Rail back, it's never caused me problems playing but then I may be remembering the older version but it's a great bit of design and I think we're lacking that on the server a little now.
