Heinz,

I was wondering, does Paypal take a cut of the money we donate? They don't seem to charge me anything, so does that mean they are charging several Euros from each donation?

They charge the receiver

OK, but how much?

When I've paid for things by Paypal in the UK, they charged £3. If it's the same for CEONSS, if someone donates 5 Euros, almost all of it goes to Paypal! :shock: So...it makes sense to make larger occasional donations instead of many small donations.

Paypal's donation amounts vs. charge [EUR] / [%]:

5 -> 0.45 / 9
10 -> 0.54 / 5.4
15 -> 0.64 / 4.3
20 -> 0.73 / 3.7
25 -> 0.83 / 3.3
40 -> 1.11 / 2.8

Some higher charges if from outside of the EU (I guess).

Thanks for the info!
So...if I donate 5.45€...you'll roughly get 5€ (maybe off by one or two cents)? Will try to adjust my donations accordingly.
