I get the random crashing out from time to time. I just live with it - its an old game, stuff happens.

I hope you come back Pet!

I came up to see what is the matter with CEONNS and I saw those comments. Well I have to say that you made me quite happy. :) I think I'm going to tell the reason of my abscence: first of all I have PC issues. I don't know the cause, because there are multiple possibilities, but my computer shuts down if I do something which requires much from the CPU. It was rather rare, but currently even the oldest games can trigger it if I play them too long. If it was caused by the cooling system then I'd fix it, but to tell the truth I haven't checked it yet, because I haven't really had time for that. Well anyway I'm going to buy a new computer, but I don't know when.

I have another reason... Well, to tell the truth I got tired of UT2004 again. I don't know why, but when I play it I feel like that I'm a machine, because I don't really enjoy the game, but I keep playing it. So when this PC issue started I stopped playing it.

But to tell the truth I will be here and I'll be watching you. :P

Petya, are you playing on a laptop? If so, it could be an overheating issue. This is quite common with laptops as over time they collect an amazing mount of dust and this blocks the cooling vents on the CPU. I've had this problem happen to me with a 1 year old laptop. You can either take the laptop apart and clean it, or as I did, get an air line and blow air backwards through the cooling vents (don't do this indoors though, dust goes everywhere!).

Even on desktops (not mine) I've seen heat sinks blocked up with dust after a year or so...
Play it safe, do what Droopy says..."Always double tap!"

Well I fixed my issue. It seems to me that my PC needed to be cleaned from the dust. Why didn't I think about this at first hand?!

Well... Today I played and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed after what I saw on the server. I think many things are out of hand there. I don't know whether it would worth for me to continue playing. :P

Could you please be a bit more specific? What exactly would have to be changed? All too general statements don't really help ;)
