Server Replacement

Finally, the server arrived at the provider. There's no feedback of an appointment when to replace it yet; maybe it'll happen today, maybe tomorrow. As mentioned, there'll be a downtime then for about 20 minutes.

Edit: I don't expect it today anymore. Probably tomorrow then

Hi all,
the server machine will be replaced again in order to have back the 32P and a decent tickrate. Most likely tomorrow in the early evening. So there's gonna be a downtime for about half an hour.
It will be a Xeon1270 system, this time with a better setup.

It doesn't look like the guys at the data center replace it today

Instructed them to do it ASAP. The new machine arrived at the data center on tuesday. Don't know what takes them so long...

They are probably "testing" the server by playing some LAN games among the employees

LOL yeah.
Apparently they do like it so much that they didn't get it installed yet. The server keeps sleeping somewhere at a cats closet in the data center, anxiously waiting for just being plugged in. 15 minutes work, nothing more! I've sent it via express delivery on monday, it arrived on tuesday and now they just don't react at all. I'm soooo pissed about it...
