Although I have a serious question... Am I cynical most of the times? I know that my personality is quite unique and strange, but one of my classmates commented that I'm cynical most of the times. Well I behave online the same way as I do in real life. :greengrin:

Since I have a new PC with a new keyboard I can barely dodge x) I need to get used to this new keyboard.

Today I realized something. As everybody knows many players claim that Minigun is a noob weapon. Well I have to agree that Minigun doesn't require much skill, however, like everything else in the game it is also an option. Players can't blame others because they use Minigun, because every player has the option to use it, it's the player's fault if he/she doesn't use this option for his/her advantage. So who can kill many players with the Minigun isn't very different from the player who can make many kill with the Lighting Gun. Personally I don't prefer to use the Minigun, because I don't like it, but I can't blame others who use it, because why not. Even if Minigun can be annoying weapon it has many cons, like in long range it is rather inefficient. In conclusion I can't consider Minigun as a noob weapon, because it is an option, which all of the players can use.

I felt like publishing this opinion. I hope I won't start an avalanche with this though.

True. Everyone has the option to use the minigun (if it is in the weapon's locker). Most players just consider it to be beneath them.
I'm only bothered by it if there is someone using only the minigun or worse, three nubs running at you just spraying minigun fire everywhere.
But I've actually used the minigun a few times when an enemy had low hp. In my opinion, killing a skilled player with full hp with the minigun takes way too much time (he/she will just kill you in the meantime), so it is rather ineffective. But it can be very useful if the player already has low hp. Then the high fire rate and the slight spray from the minigun (which makes dodging all fire from it really hard) will work in your favor.

I find the minigun to be very useful to finish players or even vecs with low health.

If someone starts trying to kill me with the mini, I raise my shield gun, I retreat, and I wait for other teammates to join the fight. Or maybe I charge him with the shield gun to seek for a gloriuos death. It depends on my mood xD

If two or three enemies do this to me, then they are doing some teamplay and so, kudos for them, I think (even if it's annoying xD)

Also, sometimes I need to use it to kill very agile players and/or players way more skilled than me *coff coff funk coff coff* (*)

However, in this case, every time that I have to choose to shoot with the minigun, I consider it a failure for me as a UT player. It's like saying "Ok, I recognize that you are better, in an ideal world I'd practice seppuku to myself, but I have to kill you for the sake of my team anyway).

(*) actually, I think that I didn't shot Funk with the mini in a long time, basically since we have our shield thing going on xD
