Oh, I love mountains so much! I loved to see these movies, put more, please. When does the tunnel close? I thought in october is already closed, or is it depending of the first heavy snow maybe?
I can't wait to go there again too!

I just finished expedition on the mountain. I had a pretty bad weather with some storms and hail. I failed because of this to do what I wanted. But still consider this tour in the mountains a successful one.

Hi Ane, that place is called "Three steps from the death", is close to Arpasu peak.

I still wait u come here to make in team a nice mountain expedition.

BTW Ane, this time on this expedition I saw and I took a picture with a lynx.... Never ever saw one into the wild before. I was lucky. No any friend of mine ever seen one. They are extremely rare and endangered species.

Yes, I noticed the rainbow. I was there to Caltun lake( and Balea upper area), well almost there because a thunderstorm started and I was SO scared lol ! It can be really frightening being on top on a bad timing. I can't wait to get there!

Heh, seeing how much it's dominating the community's "extracurricular" activities discussion, we may soon just as well rename this to "The Mountain Junkies Jockeys thread" . Just kidding of course, you folks keep on doing what you love and sharing those cool sights with the rest of us flatlanders. If anything, personally this is becoming yet another good source when I'm looking for some homegrown/non-HDR'd/photoshopped to hell n' back great natural shots for my rotating background page, so, you know, keep climbin' n' cappin', all you crazy mountain goats !
