It is really a TF2 copy, because it has some deployable turrets and teleports. 
Absolutely. And yeah, TF2 really focuses on aerial combat. I think it totally doesn't look like TF2. Some elements maybe, but I have seen deployable turrets and teleports in other FPS games too, which were made before TF2. Looks awesome btw.
