Linking gun doesnt work...people wont link me. I tried that in the past. Teamwork is...often, but usally its coincidence.
And i do agree healing should contribute to score, although i dont use it also.
And about the launcher, on big maps its real handy for killing nodes and on small maps its really not spray and pay as you call it. Gaining point from guarding a node and killing everyone there is helping by the way. Aa long as youre not camping on a locked node.
I hate tankmeup crap lol.

Perhaps found out why the ChrisPeterson/Knobjockey etc. pp. guy, who changes nick every day, and who is a friend of Heinz does not like me (or is he still kidding? Did not have the feeling today).

Called me a switcher today on TableTop, as i switched FTB(!) as Txugo ragequitted (The Mr.Namechanger and me were in one team vs. Txugo, and after Txugo left, i went to the other team).

If you can read this Peterson: Don't be a stubborn and think about the question in what situtations switching could be good for the gameplay.

If I play a bit more serious and have no lag...I get called a cheat.
If I play less serious for I am lagging like hell cause of my shiteconnection I need to be kicked...
Please try and stop being too serious, overachieving (in some cases narcissistic) tightasses, and buy a sense of humor.
Try to take some criticism (about unnecessary switching to balance) or fcol even some apparently to you ambiguous comments which are over-obviously meant as a joke, without getting the feeling of being stepped on your dicks.

You have no freakin idea how much time, money, and effort Heinz puts in, in keeping this server running smoothly all this time.
So many little things are being thrown at him on here and via pm that are honestly mostly straight out too rediculous to even mention.
Letalone put it out publically on a forum.
Trying to keep everyone happy.
Heinz the map sucks, Heinz balancer sucks, etc...
Maps are a matter of taste.
Everyone has different taste in maps .
If you don't like to get killed by a tank, go spec and wait for a NV map, or go play tam.
I made few maps and edits to contribute, Spankjox for instance.
Which I freaking hate for I hate low grav.
But a lot of players love low grav and enjoy the map..
All a matter of taste.
You can make suggestions, and they will be noted surely, but it's hard to please everyone all the time.
Start up the unreal editor and make a map to your liking, see how much time it can take to build one.
And surely Heinz will be more than happy to put it on the server for you.
About the balancer.
He had wormbo create his custom balancer.
If you want a better version than that or Titan one, you can try and contribute into letting a better version be coded.
All i see is nagging and complaints so how about some positive feedback...

Yeah right. I Enjoy the game, and i enjoy joking with some players.
But most of the time the fun is only at your side, and i (and others) get pissed.
We just don't share the _same_ humor, why do you think i am too serious in general?
(BTW: Humour isn't considered as an offense when you get to know sb. better, but i don't know you at all, so why do you go like a bull at the gate?)

And why the hell can't you accept, that from _my perspective_, there is no fun for me when you talk like that?

first of all, wrong forum section Mr.Spanky aka Mr.Purple aka douche aka troll aka loner...
secondly: keep changing your nick daily, you know what was the general stipulation on sticking to a nick.
thirdly, telling people you don't give a shit about their opinion basically makes your whole post here pointless! you think you're all so smart and witty and yet it's just bitterness. I reply to it anyway so it doesn't appear as if someone would be in awe by what you wrote. that'd be a first anyway.

in fact, RottenToTheCore is one of the few players who tries to balance or tell joiners what team might need some help and one really gotta thank him for that.
I do! there's a good reason for switching to the losing team, since it's obviously not a single-player game but an online multiplayer - ideally with 32ppl when the server is filled up.
there is simply no sense in a whole team getting dominated for 25 mins without ever having more than a few nodes let alone a real comeback. that has nothing to do with having humor or not, it's just major unbalance and unfairness to them. and despite what you might think for rotten, me or anyone who "fits the shoe" it's not at all about winning or anything, but having a fair (!) game so the majority is enjoying playing on the server and not just a few lamers. what's the fun about being spawnkilled over and over and over again without even reaching a weapon locker? it's only a matter of time when players (especially new faces to the server) disconnect and back out for good, never willing to join the server again.
what makes all this worse, matter of fact is people like you necessitate the switches, since once you start out bad on a map (after doing very well on a previous one) you just troll around, not playing up to your potential whatsoever and making your team suffer. and don't bullshit us saying you were lagging! of course there can be days when the connection is worse than usual, but that simply does not change from one map to another and then suddenly back!
it occurs very often I simply do not hit anything or do good at all, so what? we all have those days or maps when and where nothing works out the way we want it to be.
but I don't look for excuses or lie about an ominous lag.
besides, it not "crying" when people ask for help or want balance in their matches. but since spitefulness is probably the only emotion you know, chances are you won't ever get this. seize the gloating.


so despite people switching to the winning team after joining - wormbo's balancer works very fine! of course it requires some common sense and a scrap of decency, what unfortunately is lacking in some people's repertoire, you obviously being one of them.

it's funny how YOU wanna call others narcissistic when it's actually just fitting yourself cause all you care about is your own "fun", fun being trolling around.

switching to the losing team is exactly the OPPOSITE of being narcissistic or over-achieving - it's called being a team-player, rescuing the wounded. that's also why you wouldn't ever make it into the marines since you don't give a shit about your (injured) comrades, ain't that right?
all I ever heard/saw from you actually doing something for others is ONS-Spankjox and I am truly thankful for that map I really am since for once you used your talent to actually contribute something and renovating a map that had its flaws, but pondering that with all your shenanigans - it's really a small amount of contribution.

the forum is here to provide a platform for people and give them an opportunity to share their thoughts and that's exactly what they/we are doing.



this topic wasn't put up for no reason - there's a growing number of people (those being hard facts and not just assumptions) who care about having balanced matches for most of the time of the match and a vast majority of the maps. so it's everything but "unnecessary" and the only tightasses about it are people whose killing streak abruptly ends due to players' balancings. again - you being one of them!

I know I'm being hated amongst a few for several reasons, some of them being falseful thinking I'd be cheating and others not liking I am not one who can be shut up and one who always speaks out what it's on his mind, sometimes admittedly being alone with my opinion, but often being the loudspeaker for others who share those thoughts.
What is more, I do have alot of humor and laugh alot when things are actually funny. You or that turd kring have yet to come up with something funny.
Plus I DO have a life and enjoy it alot, I am loved back by the love of my life and I am successfull in my job. So "get a life" is pretty pointless. What you fail to realize is that UT is only one of many of my recreational pastimes forced by my insomnia. When I do play I am like everyone else, wanting to have fun, lucking in some frags and having good games, those being overtime. Well not everyone else, there's also the 1%-ers aka egomaniacs.

so take a good look in the mirror and ask yourself why you cause so much abhorrence. in UT, in RL, anywhere. and read some KNIGGE fcol and if you happen to come across it, some Kierkegaard, Kant and/or Nietzsche.


to sum it up - the balancer works very fine until some muppets intentionally mess with it - the emphasis here being on INTENTIONALLY.
