I don't think that it is water damage. What makes you think so? Did some sort of liquid contact your keyboard?

Have you tried removing the keys and cleaning underneath them?

I noticed a little water underneath yesterday morning. Never removed keys before.

As Ema said try to remove the keys to check them. Maybe they only need a little cleaning or something

Things i would try:

Take all keys off and get all the shite out from underneath.
Check keyboard driver is working correctly, if not, re-install from manufacturers website.
Turn laptop off, take out battery, hold power, put battery back in, turn on.
Run malware, adware and virus scans.

If it's water then ya circuits are probably screwed. Not much you can do apart from getting it repaired. If you've noticed water then take all the keys off (carefully) clean them with a q-tip or summit. If it was a few days ago the water damage will most likely be irreversible and you'll have to get it repaired. Shouldn't cost too much.

Laptop keyboard keys are usually clipped in, so if you lift one edge carefully, they can often be popped out. Then you could try cleaning. Then clip the key back in.

If that doesn't work, try looking on eBay for a replacement keyboard. They are not usually too expensive.
