Running Unreal 2004 on Win 11

Post by Xac »

Is anyone doing this yet?

Yesterday I gave in to the nagging of MS updater and let it install Win 11 on my newest laptop. I don't use it for Unreal, but I wondered if anyone had tried it yet. Still got a couple of years left of Win 10 on my Unreal laptop, not sure what I'll do in 2025 when it is not supported any longer...get a new laptop or try and run Linux on it.
Play it safe, do what Droopy says..."Always double tap!"

Yes, runs like a charm here.

WinXP would be even better because of EAX ;)

Shouldn't OpenAL Soft give you the same experience and work on current Windows and Linux versions, without even requiring a specific EAX-supporting sound card?
