Hi all! Here I am! I play on CEONSS a long time, but don't was registered on this forum. What we can discuss here?
I am playing UT2004 since 2005, but only since 2011 online (because I has ugly expensive internet before). I like ONS mode and some VCTF maps. Before UT, I was playing Quake3 a lot.
I am from Russia, Saint-Petersburg city. I have higher education - postgraduate, soon I will finish my dissertation and to become a Ph.D (I hope

). My specialty - astrophysics and radio astronomy. My English is medium scall, so do not laugh
Maybe you want know what is my nick means? I am a space engineer because I made my own Universe

Virtual of cource)) I made a planetarium and game program called SpaceEngine. Youtube can show you a lot of vids made by fans, also you can download and test it on
http://en.spaceengine.org . It is a free program, and I hope some day it become a space sim game.
Returning back to UT, what is your favourite weapon guys? My is a flak, shock, bio and deemer

And I hate lamo spiders! Among vehicles I love bio tank, mino and dragon. Dragon's bomb is the best! Also link tank is very useful vehicle in ONS, it would be cool if it were a standard vehicle.

Welcome Spacey!
Always thought you would be a retired astronaut (or Kosmonaut as it's called in Russia

) but I wasn't that far away was I?

Looked at the webpage, quite impressive stuff y'all are doing there. Would be nice if that ended up in a simulation game one day. Just tryout at some game developers with the idea, only a matter of time until one will be raving about the idea
Not really the best place to talk about this, but okay, why not (thought we should move this convo to another thread)
My favorite weapon has to be shock and lg, but my favourite kills are when people walk into an AVRIL
Vehiclewise it's hard to say... There are a lot of powerful ones and a lot of underrated vehicles (like the Cicada, BioBadger and KingHellhound for example)... I love the Hurricane for several reasons: it has a great air defense, can take a shot from an omnitaur without dying, is fast and its primary weapon has somewhat ballistic curve at the end, which can be VERY useful when since it doesn't need direct line of side and you can shoot over hills, walls etc pp without being vulnerable.
For dogfights in the air my go-to-flyer is the phoenix or the dragon.

Yes, I made this engine myself. I going to add spaceships, cities, and even Quake3 map support. So you can land on you ship, take rocket launcher a start a battle on arena. It would be cool to add supporting of UT maps, but their format a bit complicated.
By the other hand, I want to make some space maps for ONS, including spacefighters from AS-MotherShip. But I have no experience in UnrealEd... How many master mapmakers here?

Also, I can upgrade space skyboxes for a lot of maps using SpaceEngine as skybox generator. But UT have disadvantage in this - every upgraded map should become a new map and should be installed on the server.
