Join game without leaving

I wonder if there is any option to join the game if you are spectating.
At the moment I just logout and back in to join.. sux a bit

Anyone knows?

There's a "Join Game" button in the ESC menu. It only works during the match, though. It's disabled before and after the match and between rounds.

I think it works between rounds. Can be enabled also before and after the match? It would be very usefull because you loose the start each time you join right after the match has begun.

Hmm, maybe team switching was disabled between rounds. The game itself doesn't accept switching between spectator and player mode, I don't know why. Maybe it's related to the (overly?) complicated way switching is implemented.
