Team cores

Post by Cat1981England »

Does anyone know if there's a way of forcing which core teams start with?

Offline they are the same as they set in the editor, but online some of our maps such as Bitchslap and Masterbath, the cores seem to be random, and any lighting or texture which are meant to give players a clear understanding of which way they are facing without having to look at the radar map gets messed up.

Randomness is a configurable Even Match feature and it should be happening on all maps.

Thanks Wormbo. Would it be possible for even match to use the team cores as they are placed in the editor?

Like I said: it's configurable. Just turn off random side switching at match start.

When you have turned the random side switching at match start off, will the cores also stay in it's colours after a quick round? The teams get mixed so there should no need to switch the colours.

My question behinde this question is:
When I use the ONS-Vehicle-Factory and define differend vehicles for each team-colour will the vehicle stay at there team or at the core colour which is define in the editor?
For example:
I define the red powercore in the editor. Then on the red primary-node I gave the red team a tank and the blue team a Manta. When now the red powercore is defendet by the red team it's all right. But what is when the red core is defendet by the blue team? Get the blue team then the Manta insted of the tank on there primary? Or are all colours in the editor just to make a structure for the mapper? So that the blue team which is defending the red ons-powercore will get the tank on the primary, which is for the red team because from the standpoint from the map, the blue team is still the red one.
Ok that sounds complicated but I hope it's clear what I mean.

EvenMatch doesn't switch except at the start of the match, but it also won't prevent the usual switch between rounds, whether scores are reset or not. If you don't want them, turn them off in the Onslaught settings.
