Great work GL
ONS-Caelum
5/5 Airmars replacement. Good balance - 32/12 people.
ONS-Cruiser_VL-5
Nice map - needs new link setup.
ONS-MeteorCity
Not sure about this one at all. Needs a new link setup but i think that would clash with the design of the map.
ONS-Outback
It's a very good map, but it needs a new link setup to work on CEONSS and i think that would undermined the design of the map.
ONS-Perimeter
4/5 Almost perfect. Only problem is the choke point at the centre of the map.
ONS-RangerSEMSU
5/5 Feels a bit like Junglehill2 which is no bad thing.
ONS-WarLords
Didn't like this map. Not enough ammo/ vehicles, new link setup needed and over-all it just feels like a bit of a mess.

Feedback is hugely appreciated. Excellent review BTW although avrils maybe a bit too much of an advantage with all the valleys.

Thankfully i have no say in what maps are on CEONSS, if i did this would be a spambox 24/7 with the ballistic mod
Peg wrote:Still, while crowdsourcing is a great way to expand one's horizons in terms of previously unknown content, there is one favour I'd like to ask of anyone taking the time to seek out good candidate maps for the roster and tell us about em here. Instead of just offering a DL link and maybe an obstructed pic with the node layout (:p), maybe try to also do a quick review of the map and outline what it's got going for it - in terms of aesthetics, geometry arrangement, gameplay balance, other unique innovative mechanics, etc. - and what kind of editing tweaks it might need to bring it up to snuff with the server's standards. Considering your suggestion would be competing for space with existing maps, highlighting its advantages over current content would probably be an efficient way to make your case. Nothing too crazy or long either, just 3-4 lines of text should suffice. If anyone's game for that but can't nail down a good enough method for doing that, I can even post a couple of older reviews from our own internal thread about exactly that issue to see what we tend to seek out and focus on.
Understood. Will do in future

There's a lot of players here who perhaps have never downloaded any extra content and rely on their cache for such files. I thought it would be better to be safe then sorry.
